Charlotte, NC (December 2, 2020) – Around 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, a serious hit-and-run accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident occurred at the intersection of Central Avenue and Eastway Drive when two vehicles collided in the area. Police claim that one of the vehicles fled the scene of the collision afterward. The vehicle that stayed at the scene was damaged as a result of the accident. Police did not confirm whether or not they found the party responsible for the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those in need. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
