Charlotte, NC (November 15, 2020) – Around 2:45 a.m. on Sunday morning, November 15, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Rama Road and Charing Place when two vehicles collided with each other. Police stated that one of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the accident after it took place. They have not verified if they caught the driver responsible for the accident.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
The investigation into the collision continues at this time.
