Charlotte, NC (November 30, 2020) – Around 2:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon, November 30, a hit-and-run accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte authorities confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of The Plaza and Duncan Avenue when two vehicles collided with each other. The accident took place when one driver struck another and then fled the scene of the accident. It is not known if the driver was later found by police.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the crash remains ongoing.
