Charlotte, NC – Hit-and-Run Accident at W Sugar Creek Rd and Reagan Dr

Charlotte, NC (October 13, 2020) – Around 9:55 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, October 13, a hit-and-run accident took place in Charlotte.

Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of West Sugar Creek Road and Reagan Drive when two vehicles collided with each other. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the collision afterward. Police did not confirm if they have caught the driver responsible for the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the crash where they assisted those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
