Charlotte, NC (December 12, 2020) – Around 3:25 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, December 12, a hit-and-run accident took place in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte authorities, the accident took place at 4701 Central Avenue when two vehicles collided with one another. Though few details have been released, it is believed that one of the vehicles fled the scene of the accident. Police did not confirm if they caught the driver responsible for the accident.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the circumstances of the crash continues.
