Charlotte, NC (October 12, 2020) – Around 4:15 p.m. on Monday, October 12, police responded to the scene of a hit-and-run accident in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident took place at 3325 Dunn Commons Parkway when two vehicles collided with one another in the area. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the collision after it occurred. Police did not comment on whether or not they caught the driver responsible for the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. They assisted those with injuries, though the full extent of the injuries is not yet known. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of the crash.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time. Police quickly cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
