Charlotte, NC (November 28, 2020) – Around 12:25 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, November 28, a hit-and-run accident took place in Charlotte.
Police confirmed that the crash took place at 5401 East Independence Boulevard when two vehicles collided with each other. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the accident. Police did not confirm if the party was found later by police.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was closed down in the area for an extended period of time until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
