Charlotte, NC – Hit-and-Run Accident on Executive Center Dr

Charlotte, NC (October 22, 2020) – Around 3:20 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, October 22, a hit-and-run accident with injuries occurred in Charlotte.

According to Charlotte officials, the accident occurred at the intersection of 5501 Executive Center Drive when two vehicles collided with each other for reasons that are not yet known. The vehicle that caused the accident immediately fled the scene of the collision. Police did not say if they were able to find the party responsible.

Paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the accident where they helped the injured victims in the second vehicle. Their injuries warranted hospital trips; however, their conditions are not yet known at this time.

The roadway was blocked in the area until the police were able to clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
