Charlotte, NC – Hit-and-Run Accident on N Wendover Rd

Charlotte, NC (October 20, 2020) – According to officials, a hit-and-run accident took place in Charlotte around 9:45 p.m. on Tuesday night, October 20.

Police confirmed that the crash took place between two vehicles at 801 North Wendover Road when two vehicles collided with one another for unknown reasons. One of the involved vehicles immediately fled the scene of the accident. Police did not confirm if they were able to catch the responsible party.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The injured parties have not yet been identified.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
