Charlotte, NC (November 25, 2020) – Around 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, November 25, a hit-and-run accident took place on a roadway in Charlotte.
Though few details have been released, it is believed that one vehicle ran into another at 1524 Teddington Drive and then immediately fled the scene of the accident. The vehicle that was left at the scene of the accident was badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. The extent of the injuries is not yet known but one or more victims were allegedly hospitalized.
Police have not yet confirmed if they were able to catch up with the responsible driver.
The roadway was blocked in the area until police were able to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
