Charlotte, NC (September 1, 2020) – Around 11:25 a.m. this morning, September 1, a hit-and-run accident with injuries took place in Charlotte.
According to authorities, the accident took place at 3000 Wilkinson Boulevard when two vehicles collided with each other for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the accident. Police did not confirm whether or not they were able to find the party responsible for the accident.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. They assisted those with injuries in the remaining vehicle.
The roadway was closed down in the area for a period of time until police were able to successfully clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
