Charlotte, NC (October 29, 2020) – Around 3:40 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, a hit-and-run accident took place in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at 4006 Durham Lane when two vehicles collided with each other. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the accident. Police have not confirmed if they found the driver responsible for the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident and assisted those left behind with injuries. It is not yet known how many were injured. The extent of the injuries is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
