Charlotte, NC (November 7, 2020) – Around 8:25 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, a hit-and-run accident with injuries occurred in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place between two vehicles at 6628 Idlewild Road. It is believed that two vehicles collided with each other in the area, one of which fled the scene of the collision. Police have not confirmed if they have found the driver responsible for the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to assist at the scene of the accident. One or more victims in the vehicle that remained at the scene were injured as a result of the crash. The victims were hospitalized as a result, though the extent of their injuries is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
