Charlotte, NC – Hit-and-Run Accident with Injuries on Westlake Dr

Charlotte, NC (September 24, 2020) – Around 5:40 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, a hit-and-run accident took place in Charlotte.

Few details have been released but the accident allegedly took place at 11025 Westlake Drive when two vehicles collided with each other. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the accident. Police have not confirmed if they caught up with the other vehicle as of yet.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. They confirmed that one or more people in the vehicle that remained at the scene were injured. The injured victims were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the collision for a period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
