Charlotte, NC (August 28, 2020) – Early this morning, a hit-and-run accident with injuries took place on a Charlotte roadway.
According to police, the accident took place around 8:11 a.m. at 3200 Wilkinson Boulevard when two vehicles forcefully collided with one another. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the accident without stopping.
Numerous emergency responders were present at the scene of the accident including paramedics and fire crews. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision, though the extent of their injuries is not entirely known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time. Police did not comment on the other driver and if they were able to find them.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
