Charlotte, NC (December 31, 2020) – Around 12:25 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, December 31, a hit-and-run accident took place in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident occurred at 6418 Woodbend Drive. It is believed that one vehicle crashed into another and then fled the scene of the collision. It is not known if police were able to find the driver responsible for the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
