Charlotte, NC (November 10, 2020) – Around 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday evening, November 10, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Charlotte.
Though few details have been released, police confirmed that the crash took place at the intersection of Wilkinson Boulevard and Tuckaseegee Road when two vehicles collided. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the accident after it took place. Police did not confirm if they were able to catch the driver responsible for the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to assist at the scene of the accident. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The roadway was closed down in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
