Charlotte, NC – Hit-and-Run Crash at Cambridge Hill Ln Intersection

Charlotte, NC (November 29, 2020) – Around 8 p.m. on Sunday night, November 29, a hit-and-run crash took place at a Charlotte intersection.

According to Charlotte officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Cambridge Hill Lane and Providence Road. Police did not comment on the exact circumstances leading up to the accident but have said that one vehicle collided with the other and then fled the scene.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for some time. Police did not say if they caught the driver responsible for the accident.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
