Charlotte, NC (September 21, 2020) – Around 3 a.m. on Monday morning, September 21, a hit-and-run crash took place at a Charlotte intersection.
According to authorities, the collision occurred at the intersection of Jerilyn Drive and Monroe Road when two vehicles collided with each other. One of the drivers fled the scene of the accident immediately after. It is not known if police were able to catch the other driver responsible for the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The intersection was blocked in the area for an extended period of time following the collision.
