Charlotte, NC (October 16, 2020) – Around 8:10 p.m. on Friday, October 16, a hit-and-run crash occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
Though few details have been released concerning the accident, police claim that the accident happened between two vehicles at Monroe Road and Idlewild Road. It is believed that one vehicle collided with another and then fled the scene of the accident. The vehicle that remained at the scene was badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to assist at the scene of the crash. One or more victims were injured and were hospitalized as a result of the accident.
The intersection was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
