Charlotte, NC (October 16, 2020) – Around 7:40 p.m. on Friday evening, October 16, a hit-and-run crash took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
Officials confirmed that the accident occurred at the intersection of North Caswell Road and East 7th Street when two vehicles collided with one another due to unknown reasons. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the accident without stopping. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the crash where they assisted those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Police have not yet confirmed if they found the driver responsible for the accident.
