Charlotte, NC – Hit-and-Run Crash at Old Statesville Rd and Lakeview Rd

Charlotte, NC (December 11, 2020) – Around 9:35 a.m. on the morning of Friday, December 11, a car crash with injuries occurred in Charlotte.

Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Old Statesville Road and Lakeview Road. According to police, a vehicle struck another and then immediately fled the scene of the crash. Police did not say if they found the driver responsible for the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.

The intersection was blocked in the area of the accident for a period of time.
