Charlotte, NC (October 6, 2020) – Around 2:50 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, October 6, a hit-and-run crash took place in Charlotte that led to injuries.
Though few details have been released regarding the collision, police confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Rea Road and Ballantyne Commons Parkway when two vehicles collided. One of the vehicles involved immediately fled the scene, though police have not confirmed if they found the driver responsible for the accident at this time.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident and assisted those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
