Charlotte, NC (October 8, 2020) – Around 9:35 p.m. on Thursday night, October 8, a hit-and-run crash with injuries took place on a roadway in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident happened at 2700 West Mallard Creek Church Road when two vehicles collided with one another for unknown reasons. One of the involved vehicles immediately fled the scene of the accident without stopping to check on those involved.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to assist at the scene of the accident. One or more parties who remained at the scene of the accident were taken to the hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a significant amount of time. It is not known if the responsible party was located.
The investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
