Charlotte, NC – Hit-and-Run Crash with Injuries on N Caldwell St

Charlotte, NC (December 18, 2020) – At 6:15 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, December 17, a hit-and-run crash occurred in Charlotte.

Few details have been released but police confirmed that two vehicles collided at 321 North Caldwell Street due to reasons that are not yet known. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the crash without stopping. Police have not yet verified if they found the driver responsible for the collision.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.

Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
