Charlotte, NC (December 16, 2020) – Around 1:10 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, December 16, a car crash with injuries occurred in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Colony Road and Governors Hill Lane when two vehicles collided with each other. Few details have been released but it is believed that the vehicles forcefully struck one another when they entered the intersection at the same time.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection until police were able to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision is currently ongoing.
