Charlotte, NC (December 30, 2020) – Around 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, December 30, a house fire broke out in Charlotte.
According to officials, the fire broke out in a home on Selkirkshire Road about a mile from the Charlotte Premium Outlets. The fire spread to multiple homes and led to severe damages to the involved homes. A total of five homes were damaged or destroyed.
Numerous fire crews and paramedics were dispatched to the scene. One person, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Fire crews quickly worked to put out the fire, which took some time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the fire continues.
