Charlotte, NC (December 26, 2020) – Around 5:45 a.m. on Saturday morning, December 26, a multi-vehicle accident took place on a roadway in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident occurred at 5873 Albemarle Road when two or more vehicles collided with each other. Police have not confirmed the exact circumstances leading up to the accident but it is believed that the involved vehicles had heavy damage as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment, though their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
