Charlotte, NC – Multi-Vehicle Accident with Injuries on Sardis Rd

Charlotte, NC (September 14, 2020) – Around 12:30 p.m. this afternoon, September 14, a multi-vehicle accident with injuries occurred on a major roadway.

According to officials, the collision took place when two or more vehicles collided for unknown reasons at 1710 Sardis Road during traffic. Though the exact circumstances of the accident are not yet known, it is believed that one vehicle lost control, slamming into the others. The vehicles involved were badly damaged.

Numerous responders including fire crews and paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. The extent of the injuries is not entirely known but one or more victims were hospitalized.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for some time.
