Charlotte, NC (December 12, 2020) – Around 12:55 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, December 12, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a roadway in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at 4705 Central Avenue when multiple vehicles collided with each other. Police have not yet commented on the exact circumstances of the collision but have said that the vehicles involved were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
