Charlotte, NC (August 26, 2020) – Last night, August 25, victims were reportedly injured as the result of a multi-vehicle collision in Charlotte.
According to authorities, the accident occurred at 4700 North Tryon Street around 9:20 p.m. It is believed that one vehicle lost control, colliding into multiple other vehicles in the area for unknown reasons. All of the vehicles involved in the accident were severely damaged as a result of the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident where they helped those in need. One or more parties were reportedly injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time but police were able to quickly clear the scene of debris and vehicles.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
