Charlotte, NC (December 31, 2020) – Around 7:51 a.m. on Thursday morning, December 31, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries took place in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place on South Tryon Street around the area of I-485 due to reasons that are not yet known. It is believed that two or more vehicles collided with each other in the area, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The left lane of traffic was blocked in the area for some time.
