Charlotte, NC – Officer Injured in Car Crash at Davidson St and 11th St

Charlotte, NC (October 19, 2020) – Around 4:15 a.m. on Monday morning, October 19, a police officer and one other person was injured in a Charlotte accident.

According to police, the collision took place at the intersection of North Davidson Street and 11th Street when two vehicles collided at the same time. One of the vehicles was identified as a sedan, while the second was a Huntersville Police cruiser.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to assist at the scene of the collision. The officer, as well as one other victim, were both taken to the hospital with injuries. They are both expected to be okay.

The intersection was blocked for a short period of time.

Police continue their investigation into the circumstances leading up to the accident.
