Charlotte, NC (November 10, 2020) – Around 4:52 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, November 10, a pedestrian accident occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Rea Road and Windy Rush Road when a pedestrian was struck by a passenger vehicle. The pedestrian was allegedly crossing the street at the time of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. The pedestrian was the only party who was injured as a result of the collision. The unidentified party was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
