Charlotte, NC (December 15, 2020) – Around 8:32 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, December 15, a pedestrian crash took place in Charlotte.
Charlotte authorities confirmed that the accident happened on the train tracks around the area of McAlpine Station Drive and Monroe Road. Few details have been released but it is believed that an unidentified pedestrian was crossing the tracks when they were struck by a train traveling through the area.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to help the pedestrian. The adult male’s condition is not yet known.
Police confirmed that the area was blocked following the collision for a period of time.
