Charlotte, NC – Reginald Page Killed in Motorcycle Crash on N Tryon St

Charlotte, NC (September 6, 2020) – Around 8:30 p.m. on Friday night, September 4, a man was killed in a fatal motorcycle crash in Charlotte.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of North Tryon and Dorton Streets when a motorcycle and a Honda Civic collided with each other.

The motorcyclist, who was identified as 22-year-old Reginald Page, was immediately taken to Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Police believed that Page was riding his Yamaha motorcycle when it collided with a Honda Civic leaving a local parking lot.

The motorcycle went onward for a short amount of time before it stopped and caught on fire.

The driver of the Honda Civic was identified as a 15-year-old girl who was driving unlicensed. She was released to a guardian with a license offense.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision remains ongoing.
