Charlotte, NC (November 21, 2020) – One person died during an accident in the southbound lanes of Interstate 77 in Charlotte, near the Interstate 85 interchange on Thursday, November 19th.
According to initial reports, the accident took place near Sunset Road on I-77 when a car collided with a tractor-trailer in a construction zone.
The driver of the car, a man who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead on the scene.
Troopers haven’t said what caused the driver of the car to not slow down in time.
