Charlotte, NC (November 10, 2020) – Around 3:32 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, November 10, a tractor-trailer accident occurred in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place on I-85 around the area of exit 23 when an 18-wheeler and one or more passenger vehicles collided with each other. The accident led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.
Paramedics, fire crews, and Gaston County officials were dispatched to the scene of the accident. They assisted one or more victims with their injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for some time. Police urged those traveling through the area to use US-74 as an alternate route.
