Charlotte, NC (December 1, 2020) – Around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, a two-car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte authorities, the accident took place at the intersection of Sugar Creek Road and Tryon Street when two vehicles collided with each other. According to officials, who did not release all of the circumstances leading up to the accident, the accident was a rear-end collision that took place in front of the local graveyard.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
