Charlotte, NC (November 2, 2020) – Around 6:19 p.m. on Friday, October 30, a two-car crash led to injuries at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the crash occurred at the intersection of Woodlawn Road and Montford Drive. The vehicles were identified as a sedan and a pickup truck, which entered the intersection at the same time when they collided. The pickup truck struck the sedan from behind and suffered from extensive front-end damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was closed in numerous lanes. This led to extensive delays in the area for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
