Concord, NC – Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash at Warren C Coleman Blvd Intersection

Concord, NC (October 20, 2020) – Around 12 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, a man was killed in a motorcycle crash at an intersection in Concord.

According to police, the accident occurred at the intersection of Warren C. Coleman Boulevard and Wilshire Avenue. The accident took place between a motorcycle and a trailer that became detached from another vehicle.

A 37-year-old male motorcyclist was headed north on Warren C. Coleman around the area of the intersection when the trailer became detached from the vehicle. The 37-year-old was unable to stop his motorcycle in time, which caused him to strike it head-on.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. No other parties were injured as a result.

The roadway was closed down in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police reopened the roadway around 2 p.m.
