Durham, NC (December 3, 2020) – On Thursday morning, December 3, a five-car accident took place on a highway in Durham.
Few details have been released but it is believed that the accident took place when two or more vehicles initially collided and more vehicles were unable to stop in time, adding to the collision. In total, five vehicles crashed on I-40 in the area of NC Highway 751.
Paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. Three people were injured in total, with one receiving broken bones. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Two lanes were blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
