Durham, NC (September 2, 2020) – Around 5:49 a.m. this morning, September 2, a serious crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Durham.
Durham Police responded to the scene of the accident where they found that two vehicles collided head-on at the intersection of TW Alexander Drive and South Miami Boulevard. The vehicles were identified as a silver sedan and a black SUV, both of which had severe front-end damages as a result of the accident.
Durham firefighters extricated victims from their vehicles due to serious damages. Three people were severely injured including two adults and one infant. The parties have not yet been identified but all were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The eastbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time.
