Durham, NC (October 15, 2020) – On Saturday night, October 10, a man was killed in a fatal pedestrian crash on a roadway in Durham.
The accident, according to police, took place at 10 p.m. at 4100 University Drive. Officers received calls about an EMS-related issue in the area and, when they arrived, they found a man lying in the roadway with a variety of serious injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
On Monday of this week, the victim was identified as 19-year-old Timothy Frink of Durham. He was struck by a vehicle in the area as he was crossing the street.
It is not known if the party responsible for striking Frink remained at the scene but no charges have been filed.
The investigation into the accident continues.
