Pedestrian Accidents in North Carolina
Some of the most horrific and life-altering collisions that occur in North Carolina are pedestrian accidents. In just one year’s time, hundreds of lives are lost due to these accidents that tend to occur when drivers are not paying close attention to the roads around them. In the blink of an eye, a pedestrian could lose their life because a driver ran through a stop sign or forgot to look as they were making a left turn. This is why drivers are reminded time and time again that they should always carefully scan the roads around them to ensure that no pedestrians are at risk. In one recent year, over 102 North Carolina pedestrians lost their lives, which means that more precautions must be taken throughout the state to prevent these accidents.
