Fayetteville, NC (December 30, 2020) – On Tuesday night, December 28, a man was killed in a fatal pedestrian crash in Fayetteville.
Fayetteville Police confirmed that the accident took place on Bragg Boulevard near Rowan Street around 8 p.m. When police arrived at the scene, they found that the victim was lying on the ground after being struck by a passenger vehicle.
The pedestrian was identified as 28-year-old Neman Ahmon McNair who was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The driver was identified as 37-year-old Daniel Sampson, who remained at the scene of the accident.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
