Greensboro, NC (September 7, 2020) – An injury crash occurred on a roadway in Greensboro yesterday afternoon that prompted an emergency response from local first responders.
The incident occurred on I-85 at approximately 7:05 p.m. near mile marker 35. It is believed that at least two vehicles were involved in an accident on the interstate for reasons still being investigated by local police.
First responders including paramedics, police, and fire crews were dispatched to the scene of the wreck in order to render aid to those injured and assess damages caused by the crash. Fire crews also worked to clear the accident from the roadway in an effort to restore regular traffic in the area.
Closures were issued on I-85 for a period of time following the incident in order to allow first responders to work safely at the accident scene.
