Greensboro, NC – Fatal Multi-Car Crash on Mount Hope Church Rd

Greensboro, NC (November 21, 2020) – One person was killed and another was hospitalized following a car accident on Saturday, November 21st.

Officers from the Greensboro Police Department stated that the accident, which involved multiple vehicles, took place on Mount Hope Church Road.

Reports revealed that the driver of a 1999 Chevrolet Corvette was heading northbound along Mount Hope Church Road when, for reasons that have yet to be determined, they lost control of their vehicle and struck a guard rail which caused it to spin and collide with a 2020 Nissan Altima being driven by 57-year-old William Rosado, a resident of Whitsett.

Police stated that the driver of the Corvette was unbuckled during the accident and, as a result, was ejected into the roadway where they were struck by a tractor-trailer being driven by Ronald Peterson, 58, a resident of Alberta, Virginia.

The driver of the Chevrolet Corvette was pronounced dead at the scene.

Rosado sustained injuries that were classified as non-life-threatening.
