Greensboro, NC (September 25, 2020) – On Friday, September 25, a man was killed in a truck accident on a highway in Greensboro.
According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the accident took place around 5:34 a.m. when 49-year-old Mark Vincent was driving north on NC-68 around the Interstate 73 area in his Chevrolet minivan. His vehicle collided with the back of a Ford box truck for reasons that are not yet known.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident to assist those in need. Vincent was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The driver and passenger in the box truck did not have injuries and remained at the scene of the collision. They were not charged for the collision.
Police had the scene fully cleared by 11:22 a.m.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
