Falls in North Carolina
Falls are one of the leading causes of injuries and death in North Carolina and contribute to many severe results every single year. These accidents are actually the third leading cause of unintentional injury death for victims in the state of any age. Many of these accidents are preventable, especially if they take place in areas where agencies are supposed to utilize proper care. If you have been injured or lost somebody you love in a fall-related accident, it is essential that you understand you have options moving forward. These accidents are not always easy to face on your own, especially because determining negligence is not always easy.
According to recent statistics, many falls lead to injuries and even death in victims. One out of every five falls leads to serious injuries such as fractures, head injuries, spinal cord injuries, and more. Though many of these accidents will happen due to everyday activities, others occur due to the outright recklessness of others.
